GROUP COACHING

5S model of leadership development
KWC_5S_Model_2x.png

Our leadership transition programme brings experience from the executive coaching room to a group programme, allowing your teams to experience growth individually and collectively.

Using our 5S model, the outcome is a higher performing team, mutually and self aware, clear on goals and committed to success.

We have created a programme based on the five core themes that come up again and again in the coaching room when we are working on a leadership outcome.

There are four group sessions in the programme covering:

Setting   I    Skills    I    Style    I    Stakeholders

The fifth module - Self - is covered through one to one coaching at individual leader level following each of the four module group sessions.

Each module includes

  • One 2.5  hour group coaching session exploring the module theme

  • Resources to consume between sessions

  • Four 1 to 1 coaching session with each team member to consider the theme on an individual level and explore new ways of operating with the new knowledge and self-awareness. This is one to one coaching is the fifth 'module' - the self and follows each of the core four group modules.

Skills

Our coaches have a wealth of experience across different industries and environments. The common thread is our commitment to delivering results for our clients.

Why 'Killer Whale' Coaching

Why 'Killer Whale'? A life of explaining how Head Coach & founder Sorcha pronounces her first name. Sorcha (Irish for Sarah) gets many pronunciations. Sorcha has simplified it and often says... 'just think of Orca the Killer Whale and put an 'S' in front of it'.

Of course the true Irish pronunciation is a little more nuanced and don't get her started on 'Sor-sha'.

So we don't coach Killer Whales. We coach leaders - at all levels within organisations - to make positive change in their lives and break through barriers to achieving their goals & visions.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY

Heather has the ability to combine great professionalism with a wicked sense of humour and capacity to never take herself too seriously..

She reminds me of a quote from Michael J Gelb

'...over-seriousness is a warning sign for mediocrity and bureaucratic thinking.  People who are seriously committed to mastery and high performance are secure enough to lighten up'
