GROUP COACHING

Our leadership transition programme brings experience from the executive coaching room to a group programme, allowing your teams to experience growth individually and collectively simultaneously.

We noticed the impact that one leaders experiencing coaching has on a team. What if a whole team could experience deep change at the same time? Wouldn’t the impact of that be so valuable across organisations. In our post-pandemic world of fights for talent, quiet quitting and mass resignations creating strong teams who are connected to objectives and to each other is vital to the sustainability and growth of organisations.

Our leaders need to feel supported by their organisations. Providing coaching – group and individual – is the most valued intervention that leaders are looking for (Source ICF 2021).

What is Group Coaching?

In a 1 to 1 coaching relationship change is ignited by the relationship between client and coach. In a group coaching programme the ignition for growth happens between the participants, with the coach as a facilitator. This allows a team that has experienced group coaching together to carry on being coaches for each other long after the programme delivery is complete.

It is ‘coaching’ rather than ‘training’ as the coach outlines some frameworks to stimulate thinking with some clear outcomes in mind. The coach then supports the group to find the answers and solutions rather than a preach from the front of a room approach.

5S Model of Leadership Development

We created our signature group coaching programme – Leadership Transitions - based on our 5S model of leadership development. With both group sessions and 1 to 1 coaching built into each of the four core modules, the programme delivers collective and individual growth for participating teams.

What will the programme cover? â€‹

Setting: What is happening in your current organisation? Are you clear on your objectives and goals? Are you clear on the behaviours that will drive your success in this role and the next one?

Style: What is your dominant leadership style? How does you team describe you? And your peers? Is this a style that is supporting you and your business to achieve your objectives?

Skills:  What are your current, dominant leadership skills? Are there any gaps that you want to fill? Are these skills aligned to your Setting?

Stakeholders: Who are your key stakeholders, internal and external? What role are they playing in supporting you and your objectives? What is your approach to communications with them? How could it be improved?

Self: What patterns of behaviour are you bringing into play in your daily transactions? Where are you blocked and holding yourself back? What daily leadership habits create your current reality? If you changed your approach how would that change your outcomes? What beliefs are you being run by?

Through a client centred yet methodical approach we can use the 5S model of leadership development to take a 360 view of the leader and support the leader in taking tangible actions. This model also forms the basis for our signature group programme – Leadership Transitions.

Each module includes;

  • One 2.5 hour group coaching session exploring the module theme

  • Resources to consume between sessions

  • A 1 to 1 coaching session* with each team member to consider the theme on an individual level and explore new ways of operating with the new knowledge and self-awareness. This is one to one coaching is the fifth 'module' - the self and follows each of the core four group modules

*Additional 1 to 1 coaching sessions are available for different programme levels
